Miami Beat
Miami Beat is one of my original compositions. In this piece I envision two policemen driving their usual “beat” through the city. It could be any city but, in this case, it just feels like Miami. They are assigned the task of running down two criminals who have just left the scene of a bank robbery. Although the cops make several valiant attempts to trap the bad guys, they narrowly miss their mark at every turn and finally lose the dastardly duo altogether. Remaining optimistic, they return to their regular route, keeping their eyes peeled for other potential lawless activities.
