Secret of a Good Marriage

An elderly man was telling his grandson about his long and successful marriage. He first explained that after almost 25 years, things had worked out OK but that the relationship had really fallen short of his expectations. Nevertheless, to surprise his wife and, hopefully, rekindle their marriage, he decided that he would take her to China to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. They had a wonderful time on their trip and, as they say, the rest is history. The man’s grandson exclaimed “Wow, Grandpa. You and Grandma really turned things around and here you are at almost 50 years of marriage now!” Then he asked “so, what do you think you’ll do for your 50th Anniversary?”. “Well, son, I’m glad you asked” he said to his grandson. “As a matter of fact, I’m heading back to China next week to pick her up.”.
