After The Rain
Posted On March 6, 2022
Like most of the pieces I have here on the blog, this one was created quite a few years ago. I was just fiddling around on the piano while, just outside our townhome, there was a softly approaching mist and a rainstorm beginning to develop. It began very lightly but eventually gathered steam and became very dramatic. But after only a few minutes, it started to loosen its grip. It reverted to being a gently falling rain and then it faded away entirely, as in a vaguely troubling dream which resolved itself when I awoke.
